I make my own cables with switchcraft connectors and high quality shielded wire. I use color-coded shrink-wrap tubing at the ends. They work great and look cool, but it's not much fun. I build three cables after completing a module - to sort of spread out the pain. Alas, since I bought a large quantity of connectors and wire, I guess I'll be doing this routine for a while. After that, it's "Wacky" all the way. Does anyone know what these cables are? http://ronwestb12.com/ap2001/pages/Dscf0428.htm They're on the MOTM at Audio Playground. Kind of cool because of the color coding. On a somewhat related topic - why are the Wacky Kovacky cables so great? Any better than picking up switchcraft connectors, decent wire, and putting them together yourself? Your use of Yahoo!
