I didn't do anything special when I built them. And I didn't do any research before I took the readings. The only thing that is plugged in is a cable into the pulse out. Speed = max. Shape = 50%. And the alligator clips where attached to the other end of the cable. I have never done any calibration, and I can't remember if there was any to do. I probably screwed something up. What readings does everyone else get? Cheers!
