Um, I might have sent this to Nathan already, but my former ISP 
dumped me, so if I did and he replied, I didn't get a message.

Wouldn't it be easiest just to plug into the FX loop returns of the 
Mesa 400+ amps?  Those are already set for line levels, and (I'm not 
sure about the 400+) most of the Mesa amps I've seen even have an 
input attenuator at the FX return in case the MOTM output is still 
too hot.
