----- Original Message ----- From: George Kisslak <groovyshaman@...> Alas, anything other than the MOTM-900 is going to be DIY. Don't worry - this is part of the fun of building your own modular! It shouldn't be a big project. It's just a matter of mounting a replacement power supply somewhere within the case, removing the wiring from the old supply (mounted to the 900) and wiring up the replacement supply in it's place. The connections should be the same, albeit longer. ---LH--- Of course, I see no reason why you could not leave the MOTM-900 power supply in place and attach the switched AC over to source another power supply. I don't have a 900, but I seem to recall that the AC connector is one of those with the fuse built in. So, you would need to increase the fuse size to accommodate the additional load. I don't think slightly the larger fuse (in the size I am thinking) would be an issue for protection. Certainly, the switch should be fine, but the rating should be checked. I cannot imagine it being even close though. Then, one switch would turn on both supplies. The only disadvantage is that if the single fuse protecting both supplies blows, you have to do some trouble shooting to know which supply has failed. But, chances of PS failures are rather slim these days. Larry Hendry
