Jeff P and I has a long discussion about this very subject. The only real thing that can be done is modification to other "equal temp scales." Jeff and I worked up a 3 part modification that gives him the 19 note scale he wanted to experiment with. That includes everything to different subtle Baroque tunings to too exotic foreign scales. For example, synth bagpipes sound much more realistic when tuned accordingly. Just got my Encore UEG on friday. I didn't even realize the times were voltage controllable before I bought it. Too bad there is no MOTM voltage inverter so the time can be made to shorten as one moves higher on the keyboard which is how many acoustic instruments behave. Perhaps if I spend some time thinking I will figure out a trick to get around this. -Elhardt Your use of Yahoo! Groups is subject to http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/
