You guys need to lighten up a little. Some of us could not afford huge MOOG system or ARP 2600s back then and PAIA was about one of the only options we had to get into music synthesis. I realize the PAIA is not of the same quality or even on the same level as the MOTM, and I know all about "brand loyalty". But if the guy can get the price, more power to him. I have a 7 foot tall rack of mostly MOTM, some Oakley, EFM, and Encore stuff. That thing looks VERY!! intimidating to the inexperienced (which is partly why I like it so much). So, I understand why this obviously Newby person might want to try something a little less scary to start with. This just proves all the advertising lingo: "sell the sizzle, not the steak", and "people in America will buy ANYTHING!" I am really glad E-bay exixts. It gives me hope that I won't have to discount my stuff if I ever get ready to sell any of it. -- James Holloway jimh54@... - email (972) 993-2023 x1188 - voicemail/fax ---- The Old Crow <oldcrow@...> wrote: > > On Wed, 28 Feb 2001, Paul Schreiber wrote: > > > I'm gonna BARF!! > > > > Paul S. > > > > > http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1411621778 > > I've been laughing about this one all week.
