MOTM

I would have answered the weight question right away, but frankly, my
growing collection of modules are lined up along one wall on the floor of my
studio awaiting a cabinet! So unless I just throw them all into a box and
heave that onto a scale, I have *no idea* what the collective weight
(especially sans the cabinet) will be.

I knew right from the beginning that I didn't want to rack mount my MOTM
modules (even though I appreciate the fact that they can be!), opting for a
cabinet solution instead. It just hasn't happened yet!

What was the status on those elusive flat rails...?

If someone wants to take accurate weigh measurements of each module (with
power harnesses) I can make a JavaScript application that will help people
calculate the combined weight of a projected system.  :)  Don't know if that
helps since a wooden cabinet or rack is bound to account for 75% of the
final system weight.

I'm planning a big system, so I'll just shore up the studio floor with a
vertical 2x4 and keep building!
