Help! upgrading sendmail and mimedefang killed milter-greylist

These are the errors I have and it stopped say ing "come back later"....
I was upgrading sendmail from v8.12.10 to v8.13.8 and mimedefang from v2.51 to v2.58
My milter-greylist is the latest version 3.11
spamassassin version 3.1.7
Dec 7 17:20:23 apollo milter-greylist: [ID 649295 mail.info] greylist: mi_stop=1
Dec 7 17:20:23 apollo milter-greylist: [ID 528406 mail.error] smfi_main() returned 0
Dec 7 17:20:23 apollo milter-greylist: [ID 528406 mail.error] smfi_main() returned 0
Dec 7 17:20:23 apollo milter-greylist: [ID 421540 mail.info] Final database dump: no change to dump
I am desperate... this is one of my production server...

Oops, I found some mistakes and corrected them in sendmail.cf
These lines were missing:
O InputMailFilters=mimedefang, ismilter, greylist ==>> the last word "greylist" is missing so I added it
Xgreylist, S=local:/var/milter-greylist/milter-greylist.sock ==> this line is not there and it's added
It seems to work fin after these additions. I do not know if I still miss anything else.
Thanks for any tips regarding to making this work better.

I do have some more milter-greylist errors below. It seems to go to error state for 2:30 minutes then back to normal... Don't know what's causing and what's the effects are. Looking for a cure, please enlight me if you have any tips. Thanks!

Btw this is my ulimit below. I have 2GB ram on this box and 4GB ram on the other two gateways which I see similar problems.

In general it is a bad idea to modify sendmail.cf directly.
It is easy to shot yourself in the foot, and it makes
upgrades and updates more difficult.  Modifying sendmail.cf
is like patching binaries with a hex editor.

You should better add an appropriate INPUT_MAIL_FILTER line
to your sendmail.mc file, and then generate the .cf file
from your .mc file.

(If you have never worked with sendmail .mc files before, I
recommend having a look at the cf/README file in the send-
mail source distribution.)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
