In general it is a bad idea to modify sendmail.cf directly.
It is easy to shot yourself in the foot, and it makes
upgrades and updates more difficult.  Modifying sendmail.cf
is like patching binaries with a hex editor.

You should better add an appropriate INPUT_MAIL_FILTER line
to your sendmail.mc file, and then generate the .cf file
from your .mc file.

(If you have never worked with sendmail .mc files before, I
recommend having a look at the cf/README file in the send-
mail source distribution.)
