I see.

How do I rebuild with user smmsp ?

Also, just curious, but why should the milter run as smmsp - wouldn't it 
have more permissions if it ran as root ?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
