Last time I heard about that, I was given the following reason: regular mail prefer the primary MX, whereas spamware sends to any MX, regardless of the priority. This leads to ham/spam ratio being lower on secondary MX than on primary MX. But that does not mean spammers prefer secondary MX. Has this changed over the time?
