Factory Presets

Factory Presets

2004-05-22 by tjmahan831

Hi

I just got an excellent condition Poly 800mkII off eBay. Everything
works perfectly on it, and I even got a manual with it.

Apparently though, the factory preset sounds have been replaced by
whoever owned it previous to me.

Is there a way to reset those?

Thanks:)

TJ

Sorry about my english...

There are some patch files on the files section, they are in .wav
format... Connect the audio out from your soundcard to the tape-in
jack on the Poly, turn the "tape" key to "enable", then press load
and play the file from your computer... It´s a little difficult to
find the correct volume, but when it is ok, poly will blink "good" on
the panel...

I´ve done it many times and worked ok...Good Luck

I've found it VERY difficult to find the correct volume. It has to be
pretty loud, but not too loud. Finding the right spot takes trial and
error.

Thanks guys! It worked well after a bit of trial and error on the
