Re: [korgpolyex] parameter map/chart

You know I have given some thought to this.

But I have no idea where to start looking to get something done like that.

Any suggestions?

Mike.

Subject: [korgpolyex] parameter map/chart

Hi Mike,

I don't intend to get a definitive response to
this, given the present state of development in the Hawk project, but I was
wondering if it would be possible to create some layout for all the parameters
of the Hawk 800 so that we could make a stenciled faceplate and glue it over the
existing onenon the poly's right panel over the keyboard, for a quick
reference... does the number of parameters make it look like a feasible task? we
could get it properly designed for maximum readability. ..

thanks

dave

Subject: [korgpolyex] Sustain pedal

Hi Poly fans,

This new feature is one coming from out of the blue.

I have implemented a sustain pedal function. The original pedal jack is for incrementing the patch numbers. That is something that I NEVER used.

So I've implemented a new global parameter (17) that allows you to make the pedal jack into a sustain pedal.

At the moment, it only holds the notes at the sustain level. When you release the pedal the notes that you have let go are then released. The pedal is basically "holding" the notes.

Now I am going to try to implement a second sustain pedal mode that will not only hold the notes at sustain point but will also change the decay of the EG's. I will be trying to add an extended parameter that allows setting the decay offset for the sustain pedal. This offset would be added to the set decay. And then another mode will add the offset to the release too (maybe we need a second extended parameter to determine the release offset).

I'll let you all know how that works out.

Mike.

I will be ordering both kits at the same time :)

How many of you would be about to order the HAWK-800 along with the
AtomaHawk when I announce the AtomaHawk is ready?

And how many of you that already have the HAWK-800 will be ordering
the AtomaHawk?
