Hey Moose - welcome, this is a very small world indeed! (What is our
common ground now...Jupiter 6, Microwave XT, Ion and now a K5!!!
Please don't get an OB-X.)

The K5 is a bit of a secret weapon - make sure you check out
www.kfuenf.org for lots of good stuff, including some mod tips from
me if your backlight is dead (which is very likely even if your board
is mint). Of late, I have been obsessed with running my K5 through
the filters on my MKS70. (You have to add inputs to your MKS70 first,
of course). Just consumed with the sound of the two together. You
likely have some filters around you can and should experiment with on
your K5.

Also, make sure you get the Wave Analyzer program posted here. It
lets you "sample" a .wav snippet and then send the wave to your K5 -
very cool. The K5

As for getting parts - best bet is to find a dead K5 - wish I could
help by mine is very much alive. :)

I hope all is well on The Highway.
