Mailist to discuss all issues regarding the Digitech GSP-2101 Guitar FX Processor

May I complement Graham's note by suggesting the following routing, 
which in my opinion is the most flexible one (in fact, this is how I 
have my setup arranged):

Guitar -> 2101 guitar IN -> 2101 FX loop OUT -> external mFX IN -> 
external mFX OUT -> 2101 FX loop IN 

This way, you can still use the 2101's analog section if so wanted 
and bypass the external mFX (FX loop Bypass), or blend them (FX loop 
Sum), or simply turn OFF the compressor, distortion and analog EQ on 
the 2101 and your guitar signal will pass thru directly to the FX 
loop OUT to your external mFX unit. You have the best of both worlds 
this way. I have an external compressor and a Triaxis which get 
their signal from the 2101 FX loop OUT and feed it back to the 2101 
FX loop IN. For Vaish's sounds I bypass the external units and use 
the 2101's analog FXs, for my regular sound, I turn OFF the whole 
2101's analog section and the external units take over.
