this sounds like when my dongle connection (bad solder connection on a PB520
ADB port (ol' days)) used to get loose!! It would play to the end of the
song file and then all hell would break and the rest of the guys would go
into adlib, what's next? How long does it take you to reboot that thing
matt!!???
I'd not have thought this would cause anything but a 'hard drive too dslow
message'.
5.1.2 and .3 have not been ultra stable here either. I am using RME
multiface on DP533. It is sweet when it is running, but I am getting stuck
notes when jumping around the arrange page in an edit frenzy and the
occasional desssthpicable (daffy) crash/ lock up at times I cannot isolate!!
I believe you use TDM, so this may introduce / reduce a whole new set of
disasters.
Cheers,
matt

Sorry to go on a rant
