Changing teh tempo is the only way, but if you lock the audio-seq's you
have already lined up, to smpte,  they will keep their relative
positions. [in arrange/functions/object/lock SMPTE positions]

Logic has limit on the sequencer of  X number of ticks , this is why the
only way you can extend the total time is by lowering BPM. I don't know
how you got 8 hours on the Powerbook. Was that with Logic too ?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
