Is the new midi engine in 4.7 really working? EXS24 and ES1

I was just curious if the new midi engine in 4.7 really working for everyone. I haven't had any luck with it at all, and I am having disable it to get work done....... I am using the following: Mac DP533, 512mb ram OS 9.1 LAP 4.7 (Griffin Imate and ADB Dongle - soon USB Dongle) EXS 24, ES1, Waldorf Attack Unitor MKII - via Griffin G4port(soon changing to USB) MOTU 2408mkII I am going to try and eliminate as many odd ball extensions as I can, mainly Griffin ones. Any ideas, or are others having goofy or totally beserk timing issues in trying to use the unified audio midi engine in 4.7? For me, the midi data , and the output sound do not corelate....... everything goes haywire and locks up........switch back to the classic engine, and all is well...... Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Techno.
