Gee Ned....aren't you excited about reconverting all your sounds to a new format? That way you could be using the latest tools that do the same things as you already have. If you don't have the latest stuff, then what will the neighbors think? Or are you one of those weirdos that thinks that he should concentrate on making music? :-) Seriously though, Kontakt is neat...but primarily as a sound design/mangling tool. The time-streching stuff is just like in Reactor...pretty edgy and warped sounding....great for weird granular electro stuff, not so good for straight applications. I prefer the elegance of the EXS for straight ahead sampling and library management. It's really the best IMO of all the samplers at getting the balance right between power and ease of use.
