I own both Cubase and HALion as well and I must agree, there's some strengths in that combination. Anyways, while we are at comparing things, I never use any of the two though. Cubase I don't use because all the handling is flawed (my major reason to switch to Logic a few years ago) and, while it might be a bit better for mixing in some aspects (even if it uses up more CPU power) it's just no good for composing at all, IMO. HALion I don't use because it still has a major bug with looping small wavefiles and because it doesn't offer any sample management at all which is totally inacceptable for a software sampler. Can't believe they overlooked something that obvious. Regards, Sascha
