Thanks! Unfortunately I m running mac os 6.7 or so... Filetyper needs 7.x I ve got system 7 on floppys, but they re HD disks.. my mac SE can only read DD disks

This is REALLY easy to fix. You need to set up the signature file correctly in MacDisk in order to make it work. Can’t remember who wrote the solution to it

I also tried to make an *.EII bank with EMXP and copied it via MacDisk on a mac formatted zip disk. It wasn t recognized by Sound designer as a valid bank...

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
