Emax software

2013-10-17 by Christopher K Moffatt

Hi all,

I can get my hands on a old Mac Ibook that is running OS10 I think. If this
machine enough to run the various software out there for the Emax. I know
this may sound dumb, but I've never used a Mac before.

Regards

Chris

Hi there,

Thanks for the info. What older Mac would do the job to

any old mac with os7 you can get cheap nubus macs for £40-100
i use a macIIci
with 128mb ram and scsi cf drive but i use a soundtools digidesign soundcard and external digital to analog and analog to digital convertor and use the ful sd2 as i use it with my EIII EII emax and other samplers
but if usind just an emax with sdemax then any nubus comp with scsi will do you and a zip 100 external drive for the sdemax as its copy protection is on the zip drive image
if using the sdemax

You don't need a Zip drive to run SD for EMAX.

I uploaded a version that is move able to any drive, independent of the drive size.

And a new Software for OSX is on the way.

The first release is already posted here. All you need is a EMuSer.
