Internal SCSI ZIP Alternative ?

Internal SCSI ZIP Alternative ?

2011-07-31 by maradiostar

Hi

I have an EMAX I Upgraded in HD keyboard but the internal HD died.
I've read here that it's possible to change the HD for an internal SCSI ZIP, but it's quit expensive right know...I can found more cheaper Jaz or Syquest SCSI internal drives...does it works on EMAX I instead of the Internal Zip Drive ?

I have also see that HXC floppy disk emulator...could I use it instead of my internal HD ? same fonction ?

Sorry for my really bad english...

Much respect ;)

Best regards

Pedro

Great...
should be enough power consumption ? I'll (of course) disable the internal HD...right ?
DO I need a special cable to connecte the Emax scsi internal cable to the syquest or internal Zip ?
is it easy to fix inside the Emax ?

Thanks a lot ...
