Emax 2 upgrades

Emax 2 upgrades

2010-05-09 by Ted Summers

After reading around it sounds like there may be no way to currently
add any upgrades to the Emax 2.

Is anyone else interested in the Stereo upgrade that doesn't have it,
or also the memory upgrade?

I think I would like to pursue recreating the Stereo upgrade first
then possibly the 8MB upgrade.

Anyone want to help me with this?

I would need assistance from someone who has an 8MB stereo Emax 2.

Regards,
Ted

I can help where needed, but you're going to need to find an expander board. I doubt you will be able to homebrew that one. I think it's a multi layer pcb. Sounds like you made good progress so far though.

Hi Ted:

I have an 8MB Stereo Emax II rack. Are the rack PCBs and expansion options identical to those in the keyboard version? If so, perhaps I can help you out.

Best,
DBM
