Emax / Emax II Depeche Mode Sounds on ebay

Emax / Emax II Depeche Mode Sounds on ebay

2014-05-17 by rob.mayo@...

Folks,

Someone from Brazil is selling 3.5 inch disks (US$55 each) and ZIP Disks (US$220 each) of Depeche Mode sounds as used by Alan Wilder on various tours. Reckon these items are legit or no?

Thanks,

Rob.

The actual disks from Alan Wilder went up on an auction site last year… I believe they went for $600 …. he also sold some of the DM vintage gear.
I don't know who the winner of the auction was, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were copies of that.

Of course- unless it is the person who actually won them, there are no guarantees…. it could just be samples that ** sound like **…

They very well could be, a couple years ago Alan did Ebay auction off almost all his tour gear from the DM days and included all the samples he created with them. He later went on to sell some his old studio gear and even his Mercedes Benz car that he was in when he witnessed the plane crash that the track Black Box by Recoil was written about.

It could be this guy won the auctions and is now getting his money back by duplicating them and selling them off.
