Yes, 
I've used it for several years! sometimes start and works fine but when restart the machine appear the rare characters and fail! then need to unplug and plug the flat cable of the analog board, restart the emax without scsi zip drive and boot normal!

Are you sure it's a SCSI Zip drive and not a parallel?
