My suggestion would be to never try to contact E-mu via email, it's a
hopeless task. There have been a lot of people on the E-MUsaic list
fume about how they feel they are being ignored because E-mu never
responds to their emails.
The disk unfortunately is not something you can just copy. Someone
would have to make a copy of it prior to actually using it because once
it's been used the install program scrambles itself and it requires E-mu
to generate a decryption code in order for the disk to be used again.
It's very lame, but E-mu are overly protective of all their intellectual
property.

This is almost always do to a bad drive. My bet would be it would be
easier to figure out the drive problem than to try to upgrade a mono to
stereo and memory to boot.

Without access to my Emax II I can't verify anything. you might need
to erase voice then save the new bank and reload.
