It doesn't do any harm to periodically unplug/replug the ribbon connections in both the Emax and Emax II. I've had strange symptoms happen to both especially when I've not used them for awhile. The last time my Emax II's sliders stopped working, calibration values were silly and didn't respond to new settings. I just unplugged/replugged evertyhing I could see inside, and everything returned to normal !
