I have some updates: I got the zip drive I bought from e-bay today, but the guy forgot to include the zip disk that was supposed to come with it. I decided to plug it in anyway and see if my e-max would start up... and it didn't. I checked the back and set the switch to "termination on" and tried both scsci id 5 and 6. Sorry to be so inpatient, but the disks will probably take another week to get here. There is no internal HD, I have the 50-25pin scsi adapter and an Iomega SCSCI zip 100mb hooked up. I have no zip disk in the zip drive but I have the operating system in the floppy ready to boot. I starts off reading the disk but then the screen goes blank and it freezes there. Is this normal? I can start up the emax perfectly if I disconnect the adapter and just boot from floppy.
