IC35 is labeled TMS4256-15NL it should be something like a ram chip. i wonder if it is responsible for the stucked notes problem which is the most annoying one. i don't really care for missing notes, i will have a go at the filter calibration procedure to see if i can find which is the missing voice. then maybe swapping a couple ssm filters and vcs from a dead siel expander will do the work. I don't know anything electronics, sorry if i'm talking nonsense:) thanks, davide davide aprea wrote: >Dear list, >i just installed a new psu on an emax rack (thanks JeanMarc!) and i'm >testing it. >it works but voices are missing. >another flaw, the most annoying, it is some notes get stucked requiring >a panic button push. it is totally unplayable >After running the ERAM test in the diagnostic menu, it says error >detected caused by IC35. sometimes it says IC?? >Do someone know which IC is the one number 35? >I guess i can just open up the machine, IC numbers should be written >on the board, anyway: any suggestion? > >thanks! >da vi de > > > >Emax and Emax II User's Group Website > >http://www.silveriafamily.com >Yahoo!
