what!!!? My problem with the E-Max started when I bought a secondhand rack-version from a guy who told me that this unit had 4 or maybe 8 Mb of memory inside. He did not know for sure because he had not been using it for a couple of years and had lost his SCSI-cable for the harddrive(gasp, gasp).Well I bought it anyway, for a good price. When I started it for the first time the display told me that the unit had a "soundmemorysize error". I shut it down and the same warning came up again. I then tried to boot from a floppy-disc with the latest os and to my surprise the warning was gone.Only problem was,the memorysize was down to 1 Mb!! "Is there anybody out there"that can help me to get those precious Mb back cause I love the sound of a healthy E-Max ll. My love to ya all. Funkfingers.
