The floppy drive in Emax is definitely not SCSI nor IDE. It was a pretty
standard drive in its time, using a standard Floppy Disk Controller chip (I
forget the manufacturer and part number). The real issue is whether it is a
Constant Linear Velocity drive as used in a Macintosh or Constant Angular
Velocity as used in PCs. I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure it is CAV, in
that case a PC drive should work. Of course you can just order one from
E-mu's Service Department and get one that is guaranteed to work without
having to know all the gory technical details...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
