Greetings fellow humans -
second time owing the rack, trying to figure this out again. I have floppies that boot the SE1.1 OS, but the internal drive is not reading. Do I need a different OS to boot the internal hard drive? Should I assume the hard drive is toast? It looks like the original miniscribe.
I bought a greenleeDB25 punch and have ordered a DB25 to IDC50 bracket so I can run it off an external zip.
Last one I had, I put a slim floppy in it and a Micron cf card reader something or other. I'm wondering if it would be better to put a slim floppy and a scsi to IDE adaptor with a CF reader in it? Since the floppy is working, it seems like more work and I have plenty of scsi ZIP drives laying around.
