Re: [emax] SCSI plug

2014-07-07 by monsieur escargot

adaptors yes, but is it ok to actually install a different plug on the emax back panel than the original DB25? I have DB50 plugs on PCB with adaptors to the grey ribbon cable part of the SCSI kit. So basically my question is, is it the same information going thru DB50 and DB25? will the SCSI kit read infos ok coming from DB50 plugs and cable? My guess is yes, on DB25 speed.

thanks

There are all kinds of cables and adapters which allow going from DB25 to 50pin or 68 pin.

Hi
Does it matter if the SCSI plug is DB25 or DB50 for installing a PCD-60 card reader externally? finally found an external enclosure for it, but it is DB50.

thanks!
