Re: EIII harddisk boot problem

2003-02-18 by brian_ronn <brian_ronn@...>

I've tried to set the HD to ID 1 and 4 without any boot success. When
I set the ID to 1 or 4 the EIII waits 3 or 4 times longer before it
proceds scanning the scsi chain. I've tried with 2 different Seagate
ST51080N hd's which should work with the keyboard, but not in my
case. I then tried to install one of the ST51080N disks in a EIIIx
(modul) with success. In the EIIIx the hd boots as it should.

When I insert the original 43 Mb hd in the EIII the EIII will boot.

I can't figure this out.....

Thanx for helping out

Brian
