You can connect a digidesign 442 io to the sound accelerator ii card mentioned below. That's how I use mine in a IIsi with 64mb of RAM. I have a IIci as well but the serial ports seem problematic when trying to use sd for EII. Can't communicate error each time I try to send signals to eii from software control but the if I keep send the command again it responds and communication goes back offline. Switched to the iisi and works everytime. Jammie, think I need to recap my iici? Id love to use that as its far more expandable than the slower smaller iisi. Any thoughts are appreciated.
