Problem with average

Problem with average

2006-10-01 by Mike Johnson

I'm trying to average two 225 sets, but I can't see the 2nd file.

I've tried renaming it, and I've compared the files in wordpad, and all
the readings seem to be there. There is some small differences in the
values taken yesterday and today so I would like to average them.

Yesteday this worked fine on 2 different sets of data. Is there
something in the file that stops it being listed ?

I'm using Windows XP and PrintFix PRO 1.1.1

When you measure a target for a 2nd time you have to do it just like you are doing a completely new target. Do not select an existing measurment set and give it a new name. Doing that caused me the same problem.

RE: [colorvision_group] Problem with average

I did that.
The only difference are, the first time I generated a profile, the second time I did not, and it was a day later.
The only differences I can see in the files are the numbers in are different, and were extreme values.
I can open the file on the "Read Patches" page, but I can't even see it in the averages dialog box.

Re: Problem with average

Hi Mike,

I had the same problem several weeks ago with a series of three
readings of 729 patchs. Never knew for sure why, but after I reread
the first and last patches of each of the three readings I could see
them for the first time in the tool drop down, average.

Great, that fixed it,
but I forgot to save a copy of the file that does not work.
