Be sure the two displays are at an angle to each other as well, not in  
the same plane, so that each is perpendicular to where your eyes are  
located when viewing. This will eliminate any color difference caused  
by viewing the left display from right of center and the right one  
from left of center, which would double whatever color difference  
being off center causes.
