having a terrible time calebratiing monitor with spyder 3. Can you give me a phone number for colorvision that they may walk me through the problems. It seems that my contrast or white balance is too high but I can't seem to change it at allSupport is done via the website support system, so you'll need to create a ticket there, and describe your problem. You don't note what product you are using, but if its Spyder3Pro, then the way to get a white luminance adjustment is to FIRST be sure your display is defined as having a backlight control, (use the Edit Display Definition function in the application's menu to change this if you got it wrong initially) THEN use the ambient light option, being sure your room light is low, so that it will define a matching low display luminance. THEN during calibration it will give you a target, and ask you to adjust your backlight to meet the desired value.--C.
