Cynare prob?

Cynare prob?

2007-01-24 by Pete

I have a bleed through problem with my Cynare. When the filter is all the
way open I can hear bleed through coming form the "shimmer" generator. Its
always there. I usually set the filter cutoff to be lower effectively
cutting out the bleed through, and I usually have to adjust the envelope to
get it just right. If I want to create a cymbal or hi hat sound I have to
set the envelope pot to the top center position and open up the filter to
get more of the high end freq's but this also allows the bleed through to be
heard. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks
pete

pete -

check your wiring - you may have some wires too close to each other.
i noticed a similiar type of cross talk untill i moved one wire away
from
some others and it disapeered. i dont remember which wire this was
but im going to assume to the vcf input - good luck a great module
i have 2 down now :)

I rewired my Cynare to have the toggle switch and now it sounds MUCH
better! I should have done this when I built it. It makes all the
difference. Now I really love my Cynare. I need another one.

I'm having the same problem. If my scope hadn't shit the bed, this
would be alot easier to troubleshoot. Anyone have any ideas right
off hand?
