sending photos? That would be of great help.
I can't seem to find any audio clips/examples of either..i'd love to hear
what it sounds like before I venture into the build.

It's longer than will fit vertically behind a eurorack module, but can
be cut in half and the connections re-joined. The pads are already on
the board for this very purpose.
I just mounted mine horizontally on an "L" bracket.
PS - Do fit a feedback pot as suggested by Ken on the CGS site. It's
well worth it ;-)
