Does the BCR2000 work as well over USB with Cubase?

Hello, My MIDI cable connections work great with Cubase but when I use USB it doesn't want to send midi data out to a BCR2000. Is this just a limitation of the USB connection? Anyone get their BCR2000 to work completely where Fader moves in Cubase show up on the BCR2000 when using a USB cable? In USB-1 mode fader moves in Cubase don't reflect on the BCR2000. Cubase does show it is trying to send Midi Data - the Cubase transport midi out indicators see midi coming in (red) and going out (green) but Midi-OX doesn't detect any midi coming from Cubase.
