BC Manager 2.0.2 & BCN44 Manager 1.1.1 now available

2009-08-06 by Mark van den Berg

Hi!

New versions of all Mountain Utilities applications, including BC Manager (2.0.2), BCN44 Manager (1.1.1) and MIDI Tools (1.0.2), are now available from the NEW location of the Mountain Utilities web site at:

http://home.hetnet.nl/~f2hmjvandenberg281/

All packages now feature:
- an automatic update checking mechanism.
- a new installer (Inno Setup instead of InstallShield), hence the packages are MUCH smaller than before: typically 1 MB instead of 4 MB!

BC Manager 2.0.2 also provides a few specific improvements.
E.g. it allows you to save and send preset collections of almost unlimited size - this (hopefully) fixes the "too many BCL lines" problem that Kip reported about a month ago.

See the web site for further details.

Enjoy!
Mark.

P.S. In case you're wondering, I've moved the Mountain Utilities web site from its old location (mntn-utils.110mb.com) for the following reasons:

1. The 110mb.com server has been down at an alarming rate in recent months, causing many complaints from prospective downloaders of BC Manager. I'm pretty sure the new location will not suffer from such problems. (Famous last words...)

2. 110mb.com has now started putting Google ads on every page of any free web site they host. Even worse, they're linking these ads in a way that conflicts with the way I had set up my site; consequently, you only saw the ads, not my content - so that more or less forced me to move.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
