Cirklon shipping?

Cirklon shipping?

2011-05-27 by tmoravan

So has anyone received theirs yet? I had some communications indicating that they were shipping in May, but it's been quiet since then.

Sorry for the quietness, it has been very busy here, but not a huge number
of units shipped so far.
We got held up on a couple of rework issues with the PCBs, and a delay on
the microSD cards for the mainboards.
The bulk of the boards are in now, and assembly is speeding up.
I shall be working my nuts off over the next two weeks with the aim of
getting all pre-ordered units out.

I can see the packaging now -- "Free surprise inside one lucky Cirklon!!"

Hi Roman

You'll be please to hear your Cirklon is packaged up, and the carrier is booked to uplift it from us tomorrow. Sorry for the delay - we're picking up speed with assembly, testing and despatch now we've resolved a couple of minor issues. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait :) I'll email you tracking info when it's despatched.

Cheers

Barbara

Hi Barbara. It would be great if you could give us a little hint every now and then as to what number has just shipped. Then I'd know when to get excited! s/n 104 so not yet!

Best wishes

RE: [analogue-sequencer] Re: Cirklon shipping?

2011-06-08 by Colin Fraser

We expect to have shipped into the 50's by the end of this week.
We're still aiming to get all units out by the end of this month.
Assembly should have been a lot quicker, but I'm having a lot of unexpected
re-aligning of switches and encoders to do on the UI boards.
These are the only boards with a significant number of manually placed
components, and the factory who populated this run clearly failed to grasp
the notion that parts fitted to a PCB that will pass through a panel
aperture need to be fitted flush, and straight.
Anyone on the list who works in the contract PCB manufacture industry may
want to get their pitch in now for the next run.
