Hey Cristiano
I have the SDS7 schematics, and could probably get them to you by the end of the week. Are there specific pages/ pictures you need? (there are about 30 pages) I could scan what you need and get them to you.

If you scan them, could I have a copy for the website?
I'll make them into a PDF for download.

I'll be glad to. I will get them out of my filing cabinet this evening, and should have them scanned into the computer by tomorrow. They even include a sketch of the SDS7 Pad, which I believe was drawn by Dave Simmons, as were most of the rest. Just so you know, the schematics are not of the greatest degree of legibilty, but if you are familiar with electronics they should suffice... it's been a while since I've studied them.

Thanks, A lot of the simmons stuff seems to be hand drawn.
Anything is better than nothing, these things can get better, the PPG stuff
on the CDROM started with only a hand full of documents, now, its pretty
much complete.

SDS7 Schematics

2012-10-27 by vout@hotmail.com

Hi,

I recently had to try and troubleshoot a faulty SDS7 voice card, but it was difficult because the SDS7 service manual that is freely available has very poor quality (virtually unreadable) schematics for the actual voice boards, and the other schematics are not much better.

Does anyone know if better quality schematics exist for the SDS7 and are they available anywhere? I would be happy to pay.

Also, I've asked before but no harm in asking again - does anyone have an SDS6/7 memory cartridge for sale?

Cheers, vout

Hi,
I bought a SDS7 and I noticed a few problems. I'm drawing the schematics of the CPU board. Later, I'll do the voice card.
Some years later, I drew the schematics of the SDS9. It was a long work!!!!
I also read the firmware from the EPROM and disassemble it to analyse how the program works. Maybe it will possible to replace the RAM by FLASH with some changes.
Well, I can keep you informed.

Yves
