While on the topic of Ebay...Ebay Buyers beware.. there's a seller named "rainw-danie" who claims to be "ex-Simmons" in California. So, you think you can trust the guy, right? What you buy from him described as "new" may not necessarily be what you end up receiving. And, attempts to rectify the misleading transaction or damaged goods received might garner you accusations of being a fraud.Right, ok then...Sounds like someone else we know 'round these parts... hmmmm...Save yourself a lot of potential grief, folks.CheersTeknik14

A week or so ago, he offered up what he described as a “new, unused” MTM. The pictures showed an MTM wrapped in plastic.. which gave it the appearance of being right from a box. My mistake number one... I should have asked for pictures of it WITHOUT the plastic!!! In his Ebay pictures, the bits that are damaged were conveniently obscured by the plastic.. or out of the picture frame.

When I received the unit it had a bent rack ear, damaged and scratched case, damaged front face and rusty bits. This unit is anything BUT new. The rust I understand, but what type of liar and deceiver does it take to pull off a stunt like this? When I asked for an explanation, he accused me of being a fraud claiming that I switched the MTM for another one in bad condition in an attempt to rip him off. Who thinks of doing stuff like that? If he’s thinking it, one must assume that he might do this to others? He is the person selling the SDX Sample DVD on Ebay and claims he can do whatever he wants because he is ex-Simmons.Beware!!Teknik14- "if it's round, it isn't Simmons..."
