Just won an SDS-7 Dual Sample Module!

Just won an SDS-7 Dual Sample Module!

2013-06-19 by simmonssds7fan

Hello all. I just couldn't believe my eyes! I was searching ebay as I usually do, and low and behold, an SDS-7 Dual Sample Snare module came up! I've been looking for one of these for a while now, rare as hen's teeth, and I just scored it! Can't wait for it to arrive as this will allow me to eliminate a Y-splitter cable I was using on one of my SDS-7s for the "SDS-9" rimshot sound on one card and the x-stick on another card. I was actually using my SDS-9 snare pad with 2 Y-cables! One to split it from "stereo" for separation for rim and snare triggers, and another y on the rim trigger to split it to the two above mentioned cards, so actually my snare pad was triggering 3 cards in all! This will surely simplify things as well as allowing me to put two other "novelty" sounds on those cards instead.

Pictures to come once the card arrives so as not to post someone else's pictures and run into legality issues. ;)

Congrat's - how much was it? Not to rain on anyone's parade, but there
are quite a few broken SDS-7 cards floating around out there...

Cost me $175 US. And the seller does claim that it works 100% as it should. I would hope that it does, since the seller's other items were also vintage synths and synth parts.
