Sounds like a dc-current leaking through then...

Beats me - I haven't had problems like that. Your should find schematics etc and
test your way through it I guess. If PSU etc looks good as far as testing goes
there must be a glitch somewhere else. The 15 volts shouldn't reach the trigger
lamps like that... Weird... :(
