Hi all, I've just received an MTM which I bought from ebay. Its in good condition but is missing the 8 plastic trigger in sensitivity knobs. They look suspiciously like the ones also used on the SPM 8:2/SDS1000/SDS2000 and I was wondering if anyone had any spares so I could restore my MTM to its former glory. Cheers Chris

Hi! I compared with the TMI I used to have and the knobs are the same as the MTM but the shaft length differs... So, sad to say, I doubt if the SPM 8:2 and SDS-1000 works since they is very same in style as the TMI. The SDS-2000 I'm not sure about. But if anyone here knows better I'll gladly listen since I miss 10 of those knobs too... :( -- electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se Chris skrev 2012-11-22 22:13:

Thanks Jesper I have an 8:2 which I was considering using for parts but I guess its not really an option. I also have an SDS 2000 which I can't seem to remove the knobs from to confirm. Can anyone else off any insight (or any spares?) Cheers Chris ________________________________

I remember I pulled them from the TMI and they stuck out too much (if I remember this correctly) on the MTM. Still looking for a (hopefully crappy!) unit which uses the same... -- electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se

I tried sourcing MTM knobs (which are different than SPM, MTX, etc.) years ago and couldn't find them. I sent pictures to every electronic supplier I've gotten parts from and no one had any idea who made them or where to get them. But, if anyone out there can dig them up please know that you will be considered a hero on this board. And let me know - I need a few myself. :) --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, jesper <jesper@...> wrote:
