I'm not sure how the selector cable is wired in the SDS-7, but if it's plain
triggers in that cord, one might be broken affecting 7 and 16... Have you
tried a different cable?

I inserted 2 different selector pads

with cables and a cable connecting MTM and SDS7,
which I've tested so the cables are ok ... Inside the SDS7 there is a
connector soldered directly on the board...

OK, I misunderstood... sorry...

2 different pads and 2 different cables tested - right? Do you have a volt
meter so you can check for short circuits?

now I made connection: selector pad into MTM sel. pad input, then from
MTM selector out by the cable to theSDS7 sel. pad input. Pressing
switches in selector pad from 1 to 16 change patch numbers in MTM and
SDS7 from 1 to 16 exept for the SDS7 which is not reacting when I
press switch no. 7 and 16...sound complicated...but I'm polish and
even in my language it's not easy... I'm sure there must be something
wrong with SDS7...HELP!!!

yes, I have a volt meter, ohm meter etc.

With the SDS-7 powered and a selector cable in place, can you check if you
get any weird voltages on different pins... and with power off, check for
short circuits between pins...

These are just guesses since I don't own a SDS-7, but it sounds like there
are stuff happening on the pins involving program 7 and 16 that shouldn't
happen...

Lasse, any inputs on the issue?

I dont have a selector pad but are you sure its not a programming issue ?
If I recall correctly, you can rearrange the order in which the SDS-7
respond to pad selections.

Wait, Ill go out to the Studio to fetch the manuals ( bloody
rain.........).........

Ill be back

Yes, you can rearrange the order in the SDS-7.

Press pad 4 = patch 39.
Press pad 9 = patch 22

and so on....

As for the MTM, it will always select the same numbered patch as the pad you
press. I.e. press pad 1 = MTM patch 1. Press pad 5 = MTM patch 5.

Try to reprogram the order in which the SDS assign programs to selector
pads.

Do you have the manual ?

Yes I have the manual and I know about assigning programs. What I did,
I programmed once again in SDS7 assigment that selector pad 1=program
1 in SDS7, 2=2 etc. up to pad 16 . Anyway It always been like that in
my SDS7... As I wrote earlier today when changing patch number in MTM,
SDS7 is not responding to patch 7 and 13... the only way I can change
the numbers in SDS7 is to use sds7 rotary knob... Than you guys for
help anyway, tommorrow I'll try with this volt meter...
